How is this different from other word-of-the-day apps?
Most vocabulary apps hand you a definition and move on. Wove makes you use the word in a real sentence during your day, then scores how well you used it. You earn points, build streaks, and compete — not just read.
How does the AI scoring work?
Submit the sentence you actually used. GPT-4o-mini evaluates context, creativity, and complexity, then awards 1 to 5 points. Your base score is always 1 — extra points reward exceptional usage.
How does Wove keep it honest? Can people cheat?
Technically, yes. But where's the fun in that? Wove is about the satisfaction of actually using a word you've never used before. The leaderboard is a motivator, not a hall of monitors.
What is Wove Premium?
Premium is $2.99/month or $19.99/year. You get ad-free core play, one Streak Shield per month (schedule up to 7 days ahead), two free Streak Revives per month, unlimited friends, early access to new updates, and unlimited competitions when that Phase 2 feature ships.
What's the difference between Streak Shield and Streak Revive?
Streak Shield is proactive and Premium-only — schedule coverage before a planned break. Streak Revive is reactive — use it after you've already missed 1–3 days to restore your streak. Free users revive by watching a short ad per missed day; Premium includes 2 free revives each month.
When does Wove launch?
Wove launches on the iOS App Store in early October 2026 — no beta, no waitlist gate. Sign up for launch updates and we'll email you the moment it's live. Android follows in Phase 3 after iOS stability is confirmed.
